About SIPT¤

SIPT is a Python package that streamlines both the retrieval and processing of satellite imagery, making it an reliable tool for researchers, analysts, and developers working with geospatial data. Built on the robust RasterIO library, SIPT eliminates the need for an external GDAL installation, ensuring a lightweight and hassle-free setup.

Designed with scalability and multiprocessing in mind, SIPT is optimized for mass processing of satellite data on CPU and GPU and simplifies the creation of time-series datasets - perfect for applications such as environmental monitoring, urban planning, agriculture, and climate analysis.

Whether you're a seasoned remote sensing expert or new to satellite data, SIPT's intuitive functions and efficient workflows help you unlock the full potential of geospatial analysis with ease.
